Hi All,
I have not posted here in a while, since August to be precise. There has been a lot going on between personal and professional duties. That being said I do enjoy doing this whenever I get the chance. There are so many things going on in the crypto world right now, even I’m having a hard time keeping up. I’m going to run through a lot in a short amount of time, so here goes it:
Bitcoin
Bitcoin bull market continues to hold. Institutional adoption has gone beyond anything I’ve seen, which means this market is definitely different. In fact, after Jack Dorsey just announced he will be stepping down as CEO of Twitter ($TWTR), then Square ($SQ) which he is also the CEO of announced they will be changing their name to Block. This clearly shows that crypto is the future and he is putting all his focus on that. Continue to watch to see where we head from here. I still do expect a pullback at some point, but the demand and buying pressure is so much right now, just have to watch and see.
Meld
Meld is a DeFi project on the Cardano (ADA) blockchain I spoke about a few issues back, which launched the first ISPO. After selling 75% of my Cardano at the high of $3, I kept only 25% of it which I staked into the Meld ISPO Project. I think the staking will vest sometime in December. I’ll provide additional updates in the New Year based on the results.
BitFrontier Capital Holdings Inc
This is a stock I’ve never mentioned here before for good reason, because this is a super high risk play. Ticker Symbol is BFCH. I’m only bringing it up now because they finally gained Pink Current status in the OTC markets. They specialize in Bitcoin Mining using Immersion Cooling technology. I’m invested in this and will watch for any official news updates from them in the future on their progress.
Metaverse
The Metaverse is literally the next iteration of the internet powered by Blockchain and NFTs. This might sound like a joke, but it’s really not so funny anymore. Things are shifting and this is where the world is going. Facebook Inc. ($FB) has even changed their name to Meta. Winklevoss Twins are working on a Metaverse of their own. I’ll continue to educate myself in this space. All I know right now is that the 2 largest Metaverses are Decentraland (MANA) and Sandbox (SAND).
Omniverse
Oh, you thought the Metaverse was the only thing you had to worry about? Nope. There is also the Omniverse. NVidia ($NVDA) is currently working on the Omniverse. If this is not enough proof where the world is headed, continue reading or get left behind.
NFTs
NFTs are all the rage right now. An NFT is simply a Non-Fungible Token i.e. a Token minted onto the Blockchain that is unique (because it cannot be changed) which represents proof of ownership of an asset. This is going to change everything. The most popular NFT marketplace I believe is OpenSea, which runs on the Ethereum blockchain. But competition is starting to heat up, so much so that Coinbase ($COIN) just announced it will be launching its own NFT marketplace soon.
Crypto and Sports
At the beginning of this year, Crypto exchange FTX bought naming rights to the Miami Heat arena. Now another crypto exchange Crypto.com has done the same, but to the Los Angeles Lakers Staples Center. East Coast vs. West Coast, but all driven by Crypto.
Unstoppable Domains
Unstoppable Domains is a company that allows you to buy blockchain based domain extensions like .crypto, .nft, .wallet etc. Remember the early days of the internet when buying up unique domain names like voice.com or love.com early on was a gold mine? Well this is your chance now to get in early. I’ve already snagged myself 4 domain names.
Scientists Reverse Blindness
BioTech company CRISPR ($CRSP) has used Gene editing therapy to reverse blindness in current ongoing trials with fairly positive results.
I say this all to say, if you are not connecting all the dots right now, you will simply be left into the dust.
